Ok, so it has been awhile since we have updated our blog.  I won't use any excuses.....I am just going to get back into it!
Hope you all have been having a wonderful summer so far.  The weather has been fantastic here lately, and we have been having some family fun!  We just took the kiddos to Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay in Ohio last week while visiting Brian's family.  The weather didn't cooperate fully for Put-In-Bay, but it was nice for the most part.  We had fabulous weather for Cedar Point.



There are some big plans currently in the works this summer.  I am partnering up with Lynette Weber Photography to do a Boudoir Mini-Session day at a local luxury hotel.  We are getting hair and makeup artists set up to be on hand for any girls that may be interested as well.  More details to come soon.

I have set up new office hours.  Our office is closed on Monday and Tuesday.  Yes, I know I work from home, but I also have a part time job that I just can't leave!  I work at a local Veterinarian office as a part time receptionist.  I am, however, available the rest of the week.  The office is open for appointments Wednesday through Sunday.  Hours are by appointment only since we do work from home.  Consultations can be set up at any local Starbucks, Panera Bread, or Qdoba Mexican Grill.  We can come to you!  Photo sessions are on location only.  I do have a portable studio that can be set up in your living room, if you prefer indoor photos.  I also have a zoo membership that allows me to bring two guests!  So, if you want outdoor photos, but it looks like the weather won't cooperate, let's go to White River Gardens in the conservatory!  Locations that are more than 20 miles outside of Avon, IN will require travel fees.

Mini Sessions for April 9th & 10th

Our very first Mini Sessions are available!  What is a mini session, you might ask?  Well, a mini session is a 30-40 minute session at a set date and at a predetermined location.  A standard session takes place on the date, and at the location, of your choosing.  Standard sessions can also last from 1 to 2 hours with unlimited clothing changes.

What if it rains?  A new date will be set for the same location.  If you are unable to make the new date, your deposit will be credited to a standard session, or refunded.

When and where?   7 sessions available each day from 11am-4pm
To book your date and time, email Erricka at erricka@muzikandmemories.com with the date and time you would like to sign up for.  She will send you an invoice with a paypal button to pay your deposit.

It's almost Spring Time!

Damar Guild Dinner/Dance

I had the pleasure of DJing the Damar Guild Dinner/Dance last night. The Guild was able to raise a lot of money from ticket sales, and a live and silent auction. The theme was Hollywood. They even had a red carpet to walk in on! My good friend, Lynette Weber, of Lynette Weber Photography, helped out with photos. She did a fantastic job and I can't wait to share some photos with you!
The group at Damar is wonderful. We enjoy every event we attend with Damar. If you are looking for a charity to donate to, this is definitely one that should be high on your list. The work they do with Autistic and other mentally challenged children is amazing. They were using the funds raised at this event to help put together another transitional home for students on their way to taking care of themselves. There are still many children that reside at the Damar campus that could use help as well.
