IMA Shoot

I am not able to share with you the name of this beautiful little girl, but I can share her photos with you! I had fun following her around the gardens of IMA. She was very interested in all of the flowers, until she heard the bees buzzing around! The goldfish also caught her attention for awhile.
I hope to get to work with this family again in the future!

Congratulations Jennifer & Carson McCleery!

On Saturday, July 25th, Firefighter, Carson McCleery married dance instructor, Jennifer Bowers. The couple was married at Pioneer Park in Mooresville, IN. The reception was held at the Eagles Lodge. The day started out looking pretty gloomy, but as you will see in the photos (coming soon), the sun came out bringing with it a beautiful blue sky just in time for the ceremony! The couple had a beautiful ceremony, and a great party after. Congratulations Jennifer & Carson!

Weaver-Olajimbiti Engagement Shoot

Leslie Weaver & Amos Olajimbiti are getting married on August 29th! This is the first chance we have had to get their engagement photos completed though. Amos has just moved to Indiana from Nigeria. Leslie and Amos met in Nigeria and have been carrying on a long distance relationship ever since. It was a pleasure to photograph this couple. Even with the distance that has been between them, you can feel the love coming from the two of them when they look into each others eyes! I am looking forward to photographing their wedding!

Baby Grace will be here soon!

On July 14th, I headed to the Moulton home, with my portable studio, for a maternity session with Bradford & Nichole. I tried something a little new to me with this one. I added their ultrasound photo to one of the pictures!
Baby Grace is due in August!
Here are some of my favorites from this shoot:

Mr. & Mrs. Joey Singleton!

On July 10th, Joey and Gladys said "I do" in the Veranda at Valle Vista Golf Club. The weather was beautiful, and we even caught a lovely sunset! The reception started with the cutting of the cake. We were then all pleasantly surprised with two Polynesian dancers as a gift from the Bride to her Groom. The couple put together an "Evolution of Dance" type first dance, and threw a football with the bouquet into the crowd of singles, instead of the traditional garter removal/toss. The couple also put together their own slideshow which ended with their video interpretation of Adam Sandler's "Grow Old With You", acting out each of the lines in the song.
It was a fun-filled night, that I know I will always remember! I am sure that everyone there will do the same.

Carly & Joel - June 27, 2009

We traveled up to Auburn, IN for this one. Assisting with photography was Amanda Allton, and assisting as DJ was Jeremy Allton. The ceremony was held at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The ceremony did present a challenge for me as a photographer as I was not able to use flash during the service, this is a rule in the Lutheran church.
The reception was held at the Bridgewater Golf Club. This couple, and their guests, knew how to party! We had a fantastic time!
Here are a few photos:
